THIRD anniversary...

Well back on December 2, Nate and I celebrated our third anniversary as a married couple! I can't believe I have been married for THREE whole years! It's hard to believe! Just three years ago we were getting started and have done so much in that amount of time! We have been through so much, but I am so HAPPY to be with Nate and to call him my own! When things get tough and I think I have had enough of him, I just think back to the very first time I met him. Then I let my mind take me back through the dating years and all the reasons I fell in love with him in the first place! Never in a million years would I have thought back then that he would be my husband and that I would be having babies with him!! I mean never! God sure knows what He is doing! Right? I know I can't be the only one who feels like this.

This year we obviously didn't do much and that was A-okay with me! We were going to go to this place called BL BIstro here in Amarillo to eat because it's SO good, but the guys at work talked Nate into going to this place called Marty's Steakhouse. Well, Nate makes reservations and we get all dressed up. When we get there we walk in and it smells like a Vegas casino. Then we notice we are the ONLY people in this place. So the lady is going to seat us and Nate says, "Oh we have a reservation." I died laughing! I mean really, we were the only people there! So she's like um, okay. She takes us to the back of the place and sits us down and I mean basically we are like what is this place? So things start out good with the bread. We eat like 10 pieces each and then get our salad which was also good, but something I can totally make at home. Our steaks come out and I got a filet and Nate got the NY strip. Well Nate's steak is gray. Not even kidding. It looks disgusting! He was like should I eat this? So we are both laughing and he is taking a picture of it on his cell phone! We are so mature I know. It was just hilarious! His steak was indeed disgusting and things go downhill from there. Not so great. We basically went to eat bread and salad. It makes for a good story though! On our way home we both develop stomach aches and complain the whole way home. Typical us. :-) Next year we will NOT be going there. So thanks guys at work for setting that up!!

Blurry picture and it's hard doing it yourself...This was the best I could do!

Nate got me a LV for my gift...Basically I am speechless. He is the best gift giver of all times. This is also my Christmas present I was informed. :-) I can totally handle that!

Anyway, happy anniversary to us and may there be many more for our happily ever after!
