Okay don't freak out just yet. I only took a gender predictor test that Nate and I went and got at Walgreen's. It may or may not be sad when this is the highlight of our day. I got it home and it came with a cup, a syringe, and a bottle of powder. I read the instructions and it said to use only first thing in the morning so we had to wait!! First thing this morning at like 6:30am Nate was like go pee in that cup! Haha! TMI sorry! So I went and did the deal and we waited for 10 minutes! I went into the bathroom and tried to read what I thought it said. The color was leaning more toward the girl sticker but then I saw some of the powder floating in the cup still and so I decided to give it another swirl and then it really all clouded up and looked the color of the boy sticker. Well I got the directions back out and of course it said, "DO NOT DISTURB THE CUP ONCE YOU HAVE LET IT SIT". So I thought well great, now I messed it up! I let it sit for another few minutes and it turned the color of the girl sticker again. SO, I guess it looks more like a girl but then again this test is only 90% accurate and when an idiot is operating the whole thing the evidence might just get construed. I would go back and test again but the test was not that cheap and I don't feel the need to be wasting all my money on little tests. I spent enough on pregnancy tests alone! HAHA!
I have known a couple of people to take this test and for some it was right and for some it was wrong. Just a fun little thing to do on my Saturday morning!
If it is a girl we are set because like I said my mom has gotten "her bunny" a cute pink coat with fur and my aunt "Tusi" sent me baby's first pink blanket with a ladybug on it as well as three rubber duckies that are so cute! One even has on a pearl necklace! Not real of course! Danielle got me the cutest little baby wipe cover that is pink and brown. Actually it can be for both of us. I have been using it so far but if I have a boy it can just be mine. Nate would die if his boy had a pink wipe case! :-)
We will see in October if this gender test really did work!
