Quick trip to L.A.

Nate and I made a flying trip to L.A. this past weekend and it was SO MUCH FUN! For my birthday Nate told me he would take me anywhere I wanted to go as long as it was in the United States. Haha! He probably thought I would say Vegas because I love shopping there, but I actually said I wanted to go to L.A. because I love it there and now Danielle and Ty live there! SO it was like friends, great scenery, and shopping all in one! I made sure Danielle and Ty would be in town and then I booked it. The total flight time was only 4 hours so it's really not a bad flight!

Friday we got in California at 11am so we had ALL day to shop and eat and sleep of course! I have to take a nap everyday now that I am pregnant and tired all the time! We went shopping on Friday as soon as we got there at the 3rd Street Promanade. It's like three whole blocks of shopping! This was in Santa Monica. Then Saturday Danielle and Ty picked us up and we hung out with them all day and had a wonderful dinner with them right on the ocean that night! It was so much fun! We had a blast! Thanks Danielle and Ty for showing us a great time and Ty for being our wonderful driver! We had to leave early on Sunday so we missed out on the Sunday beach festivities! :-( Next time we go back we will be staying more like 3 or 4 days!

I had some major flashbacks during this trip because I had been to L.A. two times before that! I went on a mission trip and we were able to see EVERYTHING! We went to Santa Monica, downtown L.A., Venice Beach, Hollywood, Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills (I think), and just everywhere!! It was so awesome to be back at some of the same spots I was at years ago in high school!

I think I may have to win the lottery and buy me a beach house! I think I will!
