Update...

I sort of forgot I had a blog for a little while because I got so busy. Things have been crazy around here, just like they do this time of year, every year! Summer seems to fly by and before I know it I get really sad because it's gone and I feel like I can't savor it like I used to. I know it's not summer yet, but the weather we have been having lately reminds me that it's just around the corner and I can't WAIT! I sort of slowed down this week so I planted some flowers in the pots I had from last year and now I am obsessed. I have been to Lowe's, Home Depot, Walmart, etc. on a flower seeking extravaganza! I love flower season! I am really excited for mom to get here again, when we both feel well, so she can plant in my actual flower bed. She has a lot of work to do with this house as well. :-) Denae has inspired me to finally post a couple of pictures of the house. Like her, I haven't quite gotten it all figured out yet, but she has done a lot more than I have. For one thing, she has a kitchen table, and I DO NOT. We have been married for over two years and still no kitchen table. Oh well, who cares right? I will get around to it. I about have a heart attack when I find one I like and then see the price tag. Plus, after just getting into this house, I need to slowly get things in place. Maybe with that big tax return I can treat myself to some new piece of furniture! I haven't gotten any of the bedrooms in any sort of order...Not even mine...So I will post a pictures of the kitchen and the dining room and living room, which are all open to each other, just like I like it. Other than trying to give my house TLC, nothing new but work and more work.
