FINALLY! Well I say we are all moved in when really all our stuff is in the garage just waiting to be put up! Let me tell you, this has been a chore. I think Nate was afraid he might break a nail, so I had to tough it out and put my big girl panties on. I packed the entire house and loaded up an entire trailer full of STUFF! Then I made about 8 trips back and forth from the old house to the new one and then one more trailer load all in one day! Whew!
Then of course I had some drama along the way. I hired movers to get the big stuff like the living room furniture, bedroom furniture, spare bedrooms, and fridge. Well, they left the washer in the old house and claimed it was because they can't move front loader washers without these big long screws to keep the balancer from going off. Then, I they left the master bed in pieces all over the floor of the new house and apparantly thought they didn't have to put it together. The also knocked a big part of our wall on the corner and little pieces of it are just laying in the floor. UGH. SO I had to have good ole dad come this past Sunday with his flatbed to get the washer they left, the grill, some firewood, etc. Thank goodness for dad's is all I have to say. And of course Nellie and Judd helped A LOT! It goes so much faster with 5 people! And Audra Dee helped me ALL day Friday, bless you Audra. And Curtis, our handy man and good friend, thank you!
I am loving Longleaf Ln and have a feeling we are going just feel right at home in no time. As of right now, this is just a house, it takes a little time to make it home. I did cry when I pulled away from Cortona Dr for the last time. I loved that home and I will truly miss it.
I will post pictures when I find my cord that helps with that process...It's lost!
I have come to the conclusion that I have way too many shoes, jeans, and purses. Just saying, I have a problem
