Vegas...

So we went to Vegas for the annual Treasure Island Superbowl party and spent four days in that city. Four days is exhausting there and it's really hard for me to get back on track when I get home. I love Vegas and to some it's all about partying and behaving badly and then using the quote "Vegas made me do it" or "What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas". Me, not so much. I go to bed when I want and I wake up when I want and I don't leave Texas time. This time it felt like we were literally doing something every second of the day. Meagan went with us this trip and I always love when she goes, my other half time is the best time. For those who don't understand why I call her my other half I will give the details as of why. Every since we were little we have pretty much been soul mates as far as just really being in tune with each other. I spent most of my summers before I turned 16 at her house in Decatur and we would say the same thing at the same time all the time. It was freakishly weird because we would say RANDOM things at the exact same time that left people around us wondering what our problem was or saying we planned it. As we grew older and we would be at my grandma's together we would be sitting beside each other and out of nowhere just cross our legs at the same time or lean forward at the same time or reach for something at the same time or ask for something at the same time. I can't tell you how weird this is. Then now, even though she lives in Dallas we will be doing something in our day and then happen to text the other and they will be doing the SAME exact thing. We both wonder if we recorded ourselves and played the tape at the same time how close it would be to exactly the same. We are each others other half and she is just very much a part of me. I love you Meagan and you are one of the biggest blessings of my life. I watched her when she was getting ready one day and just thought of us as little girls and almost started crying. Time goes by way too fast, so take in every moment of life and savor it. I would give anything to just go back into time for one day when we were little. Don't know which day I would go back to, but we sure did have fun. I look forward to our trip to Australia.

Josh and Jennifer also went on this trip and stayed at New York New York, but we spent the whole weekend with them anyway. Always have a blast with these two, Josh and Nate are like two peas in a pod. They are just kids when they get together.

Through the four days we fit in the usual...nap time on the first day because Meagan and I had been up since 4am and could barely walk to our room when we got there because we were so tired and had about 10 suitcases...Got a good ole massage but I was ticked because the guy that did mine talked the entire time, so no thanks to him. Meagan was happy though because her guy was cute..Shopped for what seemed like forever but yet didn't get much of anything...Superbowl Party at the TI=fun but the teams I didn't so much care about...Stopped by the Wax Museum and had a ball! Went to the Palms and met Chuck Liddell and for those of you who aren't into UFC fights, he is a fighter. He was a good sport and took his picture with every adoring fan including us. Nate even arm wrestled him...For pretend of course, he would have ripped Nate's arm off. So here are some fun picture of a great weekend that I won't need again until next year because I am turning into "grandma". Nate likes to call me Aunt Bee...
